Using Artesian well waters, Barbar is unique for its honey based flavor.The honey mixes with malted wheat and hops in the fermentation process yielding a richly sweet flavored beverage. Being a honey based ale, Barbar is based on the old Viking alcoholic beverage called mead – a yeast brew with secondary “in-bottle“ fermentation.

FLOREFFE TRIPEL
Floreffe Triple owes its considerable reputation to the pungent hop-bitterness and touch of caramel that are apparent in its flavour. Along with the other Floreffe beers, Triple is not filtered and may appear cloudy when served very cold. Brewed in accordance with an old formula belonging to the Floreffe Abbey Monks, Triple undergoes secondary “in-bottle“ fermentation with the addition of yeast and sugar. Like all the beers in the Floreffe range, Triple is recognized as an authentic Belgian Abbey Beer.

FLOREFFE PRIMA MELIOR
Prima Melior used to be the special reserve ale exclusively for the use of the Abbot and his guests. A brown beer of high strength, it is reinforced with a powerful seasoning of anis and coriander. When the fermentation and clarification are complete, doses of yeast and brewing sugar are added for secondary “in-bottle“ fermentation. Prima Melior is ideal with a mature hard cheese or perfect when used in the preparation of rabbit. Like all the beers in the Floreffe range, Prima Melior is a recognized as an authentic Belgian Abbey Beer.

HOPUS
An authentic hoppy taste is the main special characteristic of this brew. The mutual combination of five species of Czech, Slovak and German hops creates a unique aroma and bitterness. There is a pear taste present followed by a bitter dry aftertaste. The flip top bottle poures a brew with a fluffy white head and a golden color.
